For example?

No, the class bonuses are abandoned; each race is formed by choosing race type + class (like elf rogue). Then you get the race that fits that combination. So if you choose human and sage, you get brittonian. So classes still exist in that they are supposed to define a race's abilities and traits. Since you don't want a great attacker when you choose an elvish rogue ;)

not easier to just pick the race without the whole class stuff ? don't mind the new races though,
